Ben daha aday yelken hakemi ikin, yelken camiasında epey namı olan Uğur abi ilk görevimde bunu söylemişti bana. Bu videoyu seyredip gülerken o günler geldi aklıma…içimden kızmıştım Uğur abiye fakat yıllar sonra hiçte haksız olmadığını düşündüm.

Tabi birsürü bahane bulunabilir, çok yoğundum, işler çok sıkışıktı, ayağımda kıl dönmüştü…gibi…eğer bir web sitesi açmışsan bunların hiçbiri bahane olamaz…bu olsa olsa tembellik olur.

Gelelim bu arada neler yaptığıma (iş hayatı dışında tabi);

• Gerek iş gereği, gerek yıllık iznimde, gerekse yelken yarışlarında, kazan-kepçe misali birçok yeri dolaştım yine, Trabzon dan Antalya ya.
• Bir ara ağaçlar.net e dadandım, birçok fedakar ve kaliteli insanla tanıştım, en önemlisi çok faydalı bilgiler öğrendim ve öğrenmeye de devam ediyorum.
• Topraksız tarım konusunda çok derin araştırmalar ve denemeler yaptım, çok başarılı oldu. Zaman zaman bu konudaki tecrübelerimi sizlerle paylaşacağım. Merak edenler için temel web sitesi Topraksız kültür sitesidir.
• Bir çiftlik kurup, Saanen keçileri yetiştirme hayalimin altyapısı için uğraştım. Susurluk, Çanakkale, Didim, Fethiye, Kırklareli, Bolu ya gittim. Hem çiftlik arazisi baktım, hemde ziyaret edebileceğim Keçi çiftliklerini ziyaret edip sahipleri ile görüşebildim. Hayvancılık ve tarım fuarlarını gezdim ama bu geçtiğimiz Aralık ayında İstanbul Tüyap ta yapılan Tarım-hayvancılık fuarı kadar kötü bir fuar da görmedim. Bu konudaki çalışma (teknik bilgi, verimlilik)  ve uğraşlarıma halen devam ediyorum.
• Bu arada tekrar teknolojiye dalıp, herhangibir INTEL işlemcili PC(en fazla 3 yıl  eski
  olan) üzerine MacOS işletim sistemi kurma çalışmalarım oldu ve oldukca başarılı geçti. Aynı PC de hem Windows hemde MacOS (Windows 7 ve MacOS X Lion) çalışabiliyorum.
• Bu ay sonunda da Türkiye Yelken Federasyonu yarıyıl kupası yarışları için, Bodrum-Turgutreis te olacağım.
• Aradabir  de, üreticiden-tüketiciye doğrudan satış yapılabilecek bir e-ticaret sitesi kurmak için çalışıyorum. Bu çalışmalar esnasında da Magento, Opencart ve SEOToaster gibi sistemleri incelemeye başladım. Sanırım Opencart ağır basıyor. Magento çok iyi ve güçlü fakat ücretsiz olan Community Eddition sürümü 20-30 ziyaretci olduğunda neredeyse çöküyor. SEOToaster çok farklı ve kolay görünüyor fakat daha geliştirilmesi gereken birçok yönü var.

Gyro Air Drums is a ground breaking music app. It is the first app to offer gyroscope control of a drumstick to beat on a set of virtual drums. İstanbul Yelken Kulübü evsahipliğinde, uluslararası 470 sınıf birliği ile birlikte organize edilen 2010 yılı olimpik 470 sınıfı , açık avrupa şampiyonası, dün akşam yapılan açılış ile başladı. 25 ülkeden 56 tekne, 31 i bayan olmak üzere toplam 112 sporcunun katıldığı şampiyona 6 Eylül 2010 tarihine kadar devam edecek. Günde 2 yarış olmak üzere ilk 3 gün toplam 6 yarış eleme yarışları olarak planlandı. 4-5 Eylül yani Cumartesi ve pazar günleri ise Altın ve Gümüş gruplar olmak üzere 4 adet final yarışı planlanıyor. 6 Eylül 2010 Pazartesi ise seyri de çok zevkli geçeceğini umduğum madalya yarışları var. Olimpiyatlarda ve dünya çapında dereceler yapmış, 470 sınıfının en iyilerinin yarıştığı bu şampiyonada sporcularımıza başarılar dilerim.

4 yıl önce İstanbul yelken haftası başlayacağı sırada bilinen tüm gazetelerin spor servisi editörlerine e-posta göndermiştim ve sadece Akşam gazetesi ilgilenip, gazetenin orta sayfasını tamamen bu konuya ayırmıştı, hatırlayanlar olursa.
Olaya birde farklı bir açıdan bakalım. İYK neredeyse küçük bir olimpiyat köyüne dönmüş, 20 nin üzerinde ülke ve Dünyada bu sporun en iyileri orada.

Diyelim ki bir vatandaş, denize vede yelkene biraz ilgi duyan birisi olsun. Ne yapabilir ?…nasıl bu şampiyona hakkında bilgi alabilir, yarış ilanlarını, sonuçları nasıl takip edebilir ?…sporcuların hazırlıklarını….kısaca İYK da yaşanan heyecana kendini nasıl dahil edebilir.
Hiçbir şansı yok…çünkü İYK ya üye olmayanlar giremez. Nalıncı keseri olmamak gerekir. Elbette üyeler ile üye olmayanların bir farklılığı olmalı ama bukadar da kapalı bir dünya olmamalı yelkencilik.
Normal vatandaş illa yarışları seyretmek, bilgi almak istiyorsa tutacak Fenerbahce parkının yolunu, yanında bir dürbün ve meraklı ise Zoom tele si olan bir fotograf makinesi ile.
Ben dün kendimi normal vatandaş yerine koydum (zaten görevli olmadığımız sürece normal yani üye olmayan vatandaşız)ve yanımda fotograf makinesi ile Fenerbahce parkında bir ağacın altında pozisyonumu aldım. Rüzgar yok, herhangibir tekne de yok denizde..2 saat kadar bekledim, hiçbir faaliyet görmeyince tuttum evin yolunu….

Şimdi sorarım size neden Yelken sporu medyada yer alsın ?
Bir fanus içerisinde yaşayan bir avuç yelkencinin, fanus dışına çıkmaya kalktığında kafasına sopa yiyen yelken camiasından neden haber versin medya ?

Bugün (Pazar) hava sıcak, rüzgar da var ve ben evde oturuyorum. Yelken sporuna görevli olduğumda katkı sağlayabilen ben, koca bir avrupa şampiyonasında Fenerbahce parkından başka bir seçeneğim yok…normal vatandaş ne yapsın ?

Google dan küçük bir sorgu yapın sadece “windsurf erikli” yazarak. bakalım nekadar sonuç gelecek, nekadar farklı kaynaktan? Neden görece ücra bu yerlerdeki Windsurf yarışları bukadar haber kaynağı olabiliyor da, koca avrupa şampiyonası olamıyor ?
Çünkü Windsurf şampiyonası seyircilere açık…hatta insanlar ne olup bittiğini anlayabilsin diye kurulan ses sisteminden sürekli açıklamalar yapılıyor, seyirciler için kurulan trübünler dolup taşıyor.
